Mawarra Public School is a compulsory uniform school.
Uniform shop
The uniform shop is run by the Mawarra P&C Association.
The shop is staffed by volunteers and all profits are returned to the school, via P&C, to purchase resources for the school.
Trading Times
The Uniform Shop is open:
Tuesday afternoons 2:30pm-3:15pm
Wednesday mornings 8:30am-9:15am
Payment
Orders can also be placed online, and will either be delivered to your child’s classroom or can be picked up from the uniform shop during opening hours https://mawarrapsuniformshop.company.site/
Or, you can pop in to try uniforms on and place an order during our opening hours. Credit Cards or EFTPOS is our preferred payment method. Cash is also accepted.

The P&C Association, in conjunction with the Principal and staff have, over the years, established a uniform to meet the needs of the children attending the school.
Please note that running shoes (except for sport) and multicoloured parkas, scarves and hair ties are not part of the uniform. Ties are an important part of the winter uniform for both boys and girls.
Both girls and boy's uniforms may be purchased from the school uniform shop, operated by the P&C committee, in the year six classroom block. Profits from the sale of uniforms are used to support the school in a variety of ways so your support both saves you money and helps resource the school.
A second hand clothing pool is also available where excellent quality pre loved uniforms can be purchased at very reasonable prices.
Labels
Please clearly label all your child's belongings. Finding the owner of lost property becomes a simple process if it is clearly labelled.
Lost property is left near the Kindergarten rooms Block E. Children and parents are invited to check at any time.
Girls' Summer Uniform
- Dress - maroon and light grey check with maroon tie.
- Socks -short white.
- Shoes - black leather.
- School Hat/Cap - maroon.
- Hair Ribbon - maroon.
Boys' Summer Uniform
- Shirt - light grey.
- Shorts - grey.
- Socks - grey with maroon and white stripes on top (short or long).
- Shoes - black leather.
- School Hat/Cap - maroon.
Girls' Winter Uniform
- Tunic - maroon plaid with concealed side pocket or maroon
- slacks and jumper with a white blouse and tie.
- Blouse - white.
- Tie - maroon.
- Socks - white.
- Stockings (optional) - grey.
- Shoes - black leather.
- Jumper - maroon v-necked top or cardigan (wool or interlock).
- Zip Jacket - maroon.
Boys' Winter Uniform
- Shirt - light grey.
- Trousers - grey.
- Tie - maroon.
- Socks - long grey with top stripes.
- Shoes - black leather.
- Jumper - maroon v-necked top (wool or interlock).
- Zip Jacket - maroon.
Sports Uniform
K-6 - available by order at times TBA during the year. See uniform shop for details.
- Girls - unisex maroon Mawarra shorts and sports polo shirt. Maroon briefs, short white socks and white sports shoes. Track suit - maroon, maroon school hat.
- Boys - unisex maroon Mawarra shorts and sports polo shirt, short white socks with white sports shoes. Track suit - maroon, maroon school hat.
