On Wednesday, 8th September students from Mawarra attended the annual Sustainable Schools Expo at Belgenny Farm. The students had a great day learning how to make bird feeders, worm farms, propagate plants and look after chickens.
At the end of the day, the students created a wish list for our school. This included the revamping of the garden beds for the growing of a variety of plants, a worm farm, sorting of waste and composting.
We all had a great day!
