Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Mawarra Public School, a high-achieving and inclusive learning community at the heart of Elderslie, Camden. Guided by our belief that every child deserves to be known, valued and cared for, we foster a safe, supportive and engaging environment where all students can thrive.
At Mawarra, we hold high expectations for learning and behaviour, empowering students to reach their personal best through explicit teaching, clear goals and purposeful learning. Our dedicated teachers use evidence-based practices to extend high-potential learners and provide targeted support for those who need it most.
Beyond the classroom, students are offered rich opportunities in sport, the arts, leadership and community service, nurturing confident, well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to the world around them.
Our strong reputation is built on genuine partnerships with families and an active, dedicated P&C, creating a vibrant school community where students love learning, teachers love teaching and families are proud to belong.
